ShoreTrade is a B2B Online Trading Marketplace that allows the sale of seafood direct from fishery to wholesaler. ShoreTrade allows the trade of seafood across multiple countries, with complete end-to-end logistics solutions.
Shoretrade is a seafood trading platform that connects seafood wholesalers to restaurants and seafood markets. They needed a solution to quote and manage the shipping for seafood orders via a complex cold chain network.
As part of this project we:
Due to the sensitive nature of the freight, we also worked with Shoretrade to define the freight management procedures and escalation points. For example, the timelines and management processes if goods do not get loaded onto flights.
Shoretrade incorporated FreightExchange’s rate management system into their eCommerce portal, allowing customers to get a direct quote and manage the downstream processes. They now have:
