Shorty’s Liquor is the part of Dan Murphy’ responsible for providing corporate beverage supply, event planning and corporate gifting services. Their 17 strong customer service team manages all aspects of beverage supply and delivery plans for clients. Shorty’s used 12+ carriers to deliver to event and corporate locations from Dan Murphy’s stores Australia-wide.
The processes for quoting and dispatching orders with carriers on the phone or via email manually for each order was time consuming and error prone. Team members were calling carriers early in the morning, late at night, on public holidays and on weekends to ensure that event orders were going to arrive on time.
There was no end-to-end quoting, tracking functionality or automated way to know that orders were on track for delivery.
